There is supposed to be an instant connection between a mother and her child. It’s something you can always count on, no matter what.

However, it doesn’t always happen that way, for a variety of reasons.

And whenever that connection doesn’t seem to exist, it causes a lot of worry. That’s why zoo workers were worried about a mother panda, Min-Min, after she gave birth.

Typically, the baby stays with the mother right after birth, but in her case, zookeepers were concerned about the baby and needed to carry out tests to check her well-being.

They were aware that this meant the mother could not bond with the baby, but had to take the risk.

Once they were sure the baby was okay, they put the baby back in the pen and held their breath. At first, there were no great reunions.

Mom ignored the baby. She even turned away from the baby at first.

Fortunately, something finally clicked. Min -Min suddenly makes the connection and walks over and grabs her little bundle of joy.

She then carries the baby to a corner where she begins to cuddle and love him, creating a bond between mother and baby for good.
