A small miracle happened in the middle of the war. In Borodyanka, Ukraine, a cat trapped on the 7th floor of a bombed-out building was rescued by kind-hearted people.
A feline miraculously survived a shower of bombardments, which fell on his building located in Borodyanka (municipality north of kyiv). The furball was stuck on the 7th floor of the completely devastated building for 4 long weeks, reports The Sun in an article published on May 3, 2022.
Faced with this terrible situation, many calls for help have been sent on social networks.Following this strong mobilization, several people volunteered to rescue the cat.
A hero by the name of Eugene Kibets, known for rescuing animals in distress, recruited a few brave rescuers and came up with the idea of using the big firefighters’ ladder to reach him. A brave member of the team scaled the crane and managed to grab the prisoner.
The cat is now in good hands
After an unbearable month of waiting amidst the debris, the cat finally receives the attention and care it needs. She is currently being cared for by staff at a local veterinary clinic.
